Condition monitoring devices

What is the condition?

Four series of condition monitoring devices are available from Omron: Motor condition monitoring devices that can predict the failure of a three-phase induction motor, network-connected power supplies that can predict the life as well as the failure of power supplies installed in control cabinets, flow and pressure sensors to monitor the hydraulic oil and cooling water for press machines and injection molding machines, and intelligent condition monitoring amplifiers that accelerate the IoT of existing analog sensors in equipment or machines.

The devices provide permanent visualization of plant and equipment status that was previously inaccessible, detect equipment status errors in advance and keep production lines running and productivity up, says Omron. The devices track changes in the energy and circulation systems of production facilities in real time. They also use communication networks to indicate when parts need to be replaced before they fail. This means that irregularities in plant quality and failures can now be detected by any employee, reducing unexpected downtime and the resulting loss of business. as
