Scantablet for one-handed operation
With its Taskbook, Datalogic has introduced a robust tablet solution for use in harsh working environments.
The Taskbook can be operated with one hand using an optional handle. A standard or Auto Range 2D imager is integrated into the handle, as well as a hot-swappable battery for round-the-clock operation. The Taskbook can be docked onto a vehicle-mounted solution and is therefore also suitable for smaller or non-electric forklift trucks.
Both the seven-inch and ten-inch display versions can be placed on the user's forearm. The other hand remains free for handling products and materials. Available accessories including the scanner handle and various docks and chargers are suitable for both tablet sizes.
"Thanks to protection class IP65, an extremely robust housing and Corning Gorilla Glass with a thickness of 1.6 millimetres, the Taskbook can withstand repeated drops from heights of up to 1.20 meters onto concrete," says Andrea Pagani, Product Manager at Datalogic.
