Label printing

Replace materials in the printer more quickly

Cab is presenting its Mach 4S four-inch label printer at Fachpack. It enables print speeds of up to 300 millimetres per second, and materials can also be easily exchanged.

Changing the material to be printed in label printers as requirements change can be time-consuming and complicated. If the Mach 4S is equipped with several roll holders with materials of different widths or qualities, these can be easily exchanged in the device. The centered material guide eliminates the need for adjustments with different material widths and enables printing on different label qualities from five by five millimeters, textile tapes and continuous shrink sleeves.

When using the internal fonts, the processor immediately prints incoming print jobs on the label. Print speeds of up to 300 millimetres per second are possible. To open the device, the cover can be folded far upwards. This means that the Mach 4S does not require any additional space at the side for changing materials at space-critical workstations, for example.

Full range of marking options
"Labelling is no longer just a means of identification," says Guido Denninger, Cab team leader at Fachpack: "Today, for example, it's about traceability down to the smallest component, scheduled delivery in logistics, type plates to display performance data or information to minimize risk. Food provides information about its ingredients and textiles about the best possible care." According to Denninger, Cab is one of the few manufacturers to offer a complete labeling portfolio for every requirement. as
