Andreas Mühlbauer,

Simplify setup and maintenance

With the PD30...IO,Carlo Gavazzi presents a new photoelectric sensor series with IO-Link communication. The series includes, with visible red light or infrared light, energetic diffuse reflection light scanners, diffuse reflection light scanners with background suppression as well as retro-reflective photoelectric sensors with and without polarizing filter.

The functional enhancements of the new sensors, which have been implemented with IO-Link, significantly reduce set-up and maintenance costs in particular. As fully configurable multifunctional sensors, they can be adapted to customer requirements so that users need to keep fewer sensor types in stock.

PD30 photoelectric sensors can be used with IO-Link communication for online monitoring and parameterization of the photoelectric sensor as well as for conventional automation systems with standard switching outputs. The sensors are available in plastic and stainless steel housings.
