Bluhm launches neighborhood assistance in the B2B sector
The media report on solidarity among the population, new local networks for neighborhood help are founded every day and social commitment is a top priority. Bluhm Systeme transfers this principle to the business world.
"Our goal is to simply transfer the current commitment and assistance in this crisis to the business world," says Volker Bluhm, authorized signatory of the labeling expert Bluhm Systeme from Rheinbreitbach. Because in times of crisis, quick and uncomplicated help is needed. Companies that produce food or hygiene products are currently reaching the limits of their capacity due to hoarding. Empty shelves and fear of infection in the retail sector are also leading to flourishing online shopping. In some cases, online retailers are currently seeing an increase in order volumes of up to 500%.
Many companies currently have to keep their production and logistics processes running at full speed. At the same time, the issues of labeling and counterfeit protection are more important than ever in view of the shortage of hygiene articles such as face masks and disinfectants.
Bluhm lends out marking technology
From now on, affected companies can borrow equipment for the direct marking of products, such as inkjet printing systems or laser markers, from Bluhm at short notice. Bluhm also provides various label printers and print-dispense systems for shipping cartons or labeling pallets.
Direct markers are particularly suitable for marking products and cardboard packaging with numerous data such as batch information, best-before dates and barcodes. In addition to inkjet printers that use various technologies such as thermal, piezo or continuous inkjet printing, Bluhm Systeme also has laser markers in its portfolio. Laser markers are characterized by forgery-proof marking results.
Labelers and label print dispensers are often used to label cartons and pallets. In addition to entry-level systems that weigh, measure and label individual shipping cartons, Bluhm offers devices and software that can control complete logistics processes fully automatically. as
