Winkelmann new board member at VDMA Robotics + Automation
Ralf Winkelmann, Managing Director of Fanuc Germany and Vice President of Fanuc Europe Corporation, is a new member of the board of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association.
With this appointment, Ralf Winkelmann succeeds Helmut Schmid, Universal Robots, who has resigned from the R+A Board for statutory reasons and would like to thank him for his successful and collegial cooperation.
"I see the expansion of new technologies in areas such as IoT, artificial intelligence and OPC UA as an essential part of maintaining the innovative capacity of German and European industry. It is particularly important to me that small and medium-sized companies also have access to these technologies. I am looking forward to making a contribution on the VDMA Robotics + Automation Board to advancing highly efficient production in Germany and Europe," said Ralf Winkelmann about his new role. as
