Software for collaborative applications
OnRobot enters the software business with its own solution for collaborative applications called "WebLytics".
The Danish robotics specialist OnRobot presented its first software product, WebLytics. The solution was developed to monitor the performance of several collaborative applications simultaneously and in real time. WebLytics collects device data from robots and tools and converts it into easy-to-understand, visualized information at device and application level. WebLytics is compatible with OnRobot's entire line of collaborative, application-oriented hardware solutions and has been available worldwide by subscription since November 11.
Automatic reports
WebLytics provides reports on the utilization of the robot arm and the OnRobot tools such as grippers, vision cameras and sensors while the application is running. In addition to the number of gripping cycles, the software also records the number of safety stops initiated. There are also live device diagnostics, warning messages and preventive maintenance measures. End users and integrators therefore no longer need to monitor and evaluate the data manually. Thanks to the software, they have actionable insights into the functionality of the collaborative application and are able to react at an early stage if necessary, without having to invest all their resources in monitoring the application.
"The launch of WebLytics is an important milestone for OnRobot, our customers and our global network of integrators," explains Enrico Krog Iversen, CEO of OnRobot. "With WebLytics, we have the first software solution that provides real-time application-related data for collaborative applications from leading robot manufacturers. Moreover, our first software product is just the beginning of our journey into robot software. WebLytics completes our vision of providing a one-stop store for collaborative applications - both hardware and software."
