Automation solution

Yaskawa will also be presenting its Industry 4.0 concept for i³-Mechatronics at Automatica: The integrative approach includes current and newly developed Motoman robots as well as products and solutions from drive and control technology and specially developed software solutions.
Relevant process and system data is collected and analyzed in a scalable database in real time. Optimizations are learned via artificial intelligence. Visualization takes place in the Yaskawa Cockpit software platform. At the same time, the current status of each machine can be displayed in real time and correlated with other data sources, for example for coordinated predictive maintenance. The data can also be transferred to existing ERP, MES, big data or AI environments under the highest security standards.
The technical basis for such automation solutions continues to be provided by powerful robot models such as the Motoman HC10 collaborative robot, which can now also be programmed with a "smart pendant" or "direct teaching", or the new Motomini development. The compact six-axis robot was specially developed for handling and assembling small workpieces. Yaskawa is also adding new models to the Motoman GP series. as
