Efficient complete machining
Index-Werke will be bringing the Index G220 turn-mill center and the Traub TNA400 universal lathe to Intec.
Based on a rigid and vibration-damping machine bed in mineral cast block construction and generously dimensioned linear guides in the X and Z axes, the machines offer high stability and damping properties as well as dynamic values. This results in very good machining results with high productivity.
With a spindle clearance of 76 mm, a chuck diameter of 230 mm and a turning length of 900 mm, the G220 model rounds off the newly designed G series at the bottom. Due to the large working area and the distance between the main and counter spindles, the motorized milling spindle and the tool turrets can be used to machine simultaneously on the main and counter spindles.
