Economical machining of steel and cast materials

Components made of steel and cast materials withstand high loads and safety requirements and are therefore used in many industries. Their variety of sizes and shapes and the different types of materials make the design of the machining processes individual and demanding. Especially as they place completely different demands on machining than components made of aluminum.

At the Mapal Dialog expert day, users and interested specialists can find out about the potential of intelligent machining of components made from steel and cast materials. The one-day events on May 14 and 15, 2019 at the company headquarters in Aalen offer participants the opportunity to find out about new technological developments in this area and to talk to the specialists.

Experts from leading companies in the industry and scientists from TU Darmstadt will cover a wide range of topics at the Expert Day, from reliable steel machining to material-optimized tools. They will present new machining solutions and intelligent cutting materials for steel and cast materials and provide insights into modern digitalization concepts. There will be live demonstrations of key applications in practical operation at the company's research and development center, and participants are also invited to take a guided tour of the company.
