As Technical Managing Director, Andreas Rinke had been in charge of the Research & Development division and the operational business areas of Contract Engineering, Production, Materials Management, Quality Assurance and Installation & Customer Service at IMA Schelling Germany since mid-2014. He left the company on December 31, 2019. Christoph Geiger, who was previously responsible for these operational areas for IMA Schelling Austria, took over overall responsibility for these areas for both Germany and Austria on January 1, 2020.

"Andreas Rinke has shown great commitment to the IMA Schelling Group in recent years, making a significant contribution to the successful development of the Group," says Wolfgang Rohner, CEO of the IMA Schelling Group, in praise of the outgoing Managing Director. In the course of the merger of the IMA and Schelling companies and the resulting changes in the company, it was jointly decided to go their separate ways.

Rinke was heavily involved in the renewal of the IMA Schelling Group in terms of technology, systems and processes. His successor Christoph Geiger will now continue these tasks. Geiger has been part of the IMA Schelling Group since April 2018 and previously managed the operational business of IMA Schelling Austria. Geiger will now assume responsibility for this area across the entire Group.
