At Hannover Messe 2023, Schunk will be demonstrating how digital solutions lead to greater efficiency and lower resource consumption using three examples: the bio-inspired technology Adheso, the smart tool holder iTendo2 and the 2D Grasping Kit.
International companies meeting at the Hannover Messe are facing major challenges that require a profound rethink. In addition to the pressing issues of energy security and functioning supply chains, the focus is on the megatopics of sustainability and digitalization.
The automation specialist Schunk conveys that both topics go hand in hand and deliberately focuses on open dialog. After all, it is through exchange and partnership-based cooperation that future-proof technologies are created that can be used to tackle the challenges of our time.
The company will be demonstrating how digital solutions lead to greater efficiency and lower resource consumption with three examples. For example, the bio-inspired Adheso technology grips sensitive or difficult-to-handle parts gently, residue-free and completely energy-free using adhesive force.
Thanks to an AI developed in-house, the 2D Grasping Kit makes grasping individual objects randomly arranged on a plane child's play; the complete package of hardware, software and service requires no prior knowledge of programming or image recognition.
The iTendo2 smart tool holder transmits data in real time and thus ensures machining processes that require maximum precision.
