Small injection molded parts are now increasingly being automated. The ASS Micro System includes around 70 new micro components for handling solutions for very small components. The Micro System makes it possible to create the right gripper in a small space in small injection moulding machines or linear handling systems: both size and weight can be minimized with the ASS Micro System.

The smallest version of the new SWH semi-automatic quick coupler is also used in the Micro System. Three sizes of the quick coupler are included in the new catalog: 50, 90 and 150 millimeters. They have a secure connection between the robot and gripper side and six, eight or ten connections for air feed-through. With the additional accessories, the locked position can be queried as an option.

The manual quick coupler type SWM KH is also new. It has a user-friendly lever mechanism that fixes the robot base plate quickly and easily with a positive fit.

New versions of the GRZ grippers and jaw pairs in various sizes and other sizes of the PGR-P parallel gripper with accessories are available in the ASS robot hand kit for various handling tasks. These include various grippers and jaw pairs with the highly wear-resistant and low-impact EP coating and NPN variants for international handling tasks.

New gripper arms increase the flexibility of the modular system: different versions of spring-loaded, angle-adjustable gripper arms or combinations of different clamping diameters enable numerous other possible applications.

The new needle gripper NGR 20-6-25 D and the gripper GRZ 10-12 PTFE are tailored to the lightweight construction sector with its flexible layers, bulky or sticky materials. Both gripper parts are equipped with PTFE-coated contact surfaces to grip sticky materials securely and release them again without leaving any residue. as
