Würth Elektronik, manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, is presenting itself as a partner to developers at embedded world. At stand 110 in hall 2, the company will be presenting its portfolio and the associated services.
Würth Elektronik is known for delivering from stock without a minimum order quantity and for providing free samples of its components. Developers receive support in selecting suitable solutions, advice on EMC issues and even design-in support if required. The "Wireless Connectivity and Sensors" division is expecting great interest from trade fair visitors, as its products are particularly suitable for IoT applications.
The MEMS-based sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure and acceleration from Würth Elektronik are characterized by intelligent on-chip interrupt functions, compact designs and optimized power consumption in various modes. Combined with the manufacturer's wireless modules, sensor networks can be implemented in the smart factory or smart building sector, for example.
A topic from the field of optoelectronics will be demonstrated in practice with the "HortiRack", a small vertical farming ecosystem: Würth Elektronik has specialized in plant cultivation applications with LEDs of special light wavelengths and is itself researching the control of plant growth through "light recipes" in order to promote this technology.
