Wieland Electric appoints Bernd Uckrow as CEO
Bernd P. Uckrow has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Wieland Electric.
From now on, Uckrow will be responsible for the commercial areas of finance, controlling, human resources, IT and purchasing for the Wieland division. He is returning to the helm of the safety and automation technology provider after 15 years. He already worked for the company from 1995 to 2005, the last five years of which he was Commercial Managing Director of Wieland Holding and Wieland Electric.
His international career has taken him through management positions abroad and to globally positioned companies such as SEW Eurodrive, where he was also responsible for commercial management. With this appointment, Wieland Electric wants to set a clear signal for the strategic direction of the company and secure its future in the current difficult economic environment.
