Cable glands and cable ducts
Pflitsch celebrates 100 years of company history
This summer, Pflitsch looks back on 100 years of successful company history and at the same time has its sights firmly set on the future. The various anniversary activities culminated on July 1 with a big celebration around the new Plant 2.
When Ernst Pflitsch founded his electrotechnical factory in July 1919, nobody would have guessed that 100 years later this small plant would grow into a globally renowned brand: the Pflitsch brand - recognizable by the hexagon, which stands for innovation and quality "Made in Germany" in the areas of cable glands, cable ducts and cable protection.
Like world-famous names from the Bergisches Land region of inventors - such as X-rays or Mannesmann pipes - Pflitsch has also earned a reputation as a technology leader in the field of industrial cable routing. So it's no wonder that it's not uncommon to hear in the market: "If anyone can solve this problem, it's Pflitsch!"
Innovations such as UNI Dicht - the mother of modern cable glands a good 50 years ago - or the introduction of cable trunking in the 1980s have accompanied this path, as has the strategy of providing customers with all-round support services. For example, the easyRoute planning tool can be used to plan trunking routes on screen, which are then prefabricated into assemblies and delivered to customers worldwide on schedule at a fixed price. In addition, the design data for Pflitsch products is available online to users from all over the world.

Finalist Großer Preis des Mittelstandes
Pflitsch erhält Auszeichnung
Ende September wurde das Familienunternehmen Pflitsch von der Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung als „Finalist Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“ ausgezeichnet.
After Hans-Georg and Otto Pflitsch (2nd generation), Harald Pflitsch and Ute Pflitsch-Stendtke (3rd generation), the flourishing family business with its more than 300 employees is now being led into the future by Roland Lenzing and Mathias Stendtke in the 4th generation.
On 1 July, Pflitsch celebrated a big anniversary party around the new Plant 2 with partners, representatives from politics, business and the press as well as all employees and their families. This is where the cable duct competence center with material flow-optimized process sequences and flexible CNC production centers is being built in order to be able to serve the expanding market for duct assemblies in an even more focused manner.
