Delta Electronics appoints Dalip Sharma as President and Regional Head EMEA
Delta Electronics, a provider of energy and thermal management solutions, has appointed Dalip Sharma as President and Regional Head for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Dalip Sharma will be responsible for strengthening the company's growing presence in EMEA, a key region for global business development. He will be based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, where Delta EMEA is headquartered.
"My vision for Delta EMEA is to further build on its status as a provider of IoT-based smart green solutions, developing them to increase energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions in cities across EMEA. To realize this vision, I am confident that we can leverage Delta's vast global resources to further accelerate the company's growth and success across the EMEA region," said Sharma.
While Europe, the Middle East and Africa are some of the most diverse regions in the world with many untapped opportunities, they are also some of the most complex. Dalip Sharma intends to work with Delta's internal and external partners to implement strategies and local market focus tailored to the needs of the respective territories, as these are strategically important for the company's future growth.
Sharma is an electronics and communications technology professional with more than 27 years of experience and success in business development, management and strategic development. His wealth of experience comes from working with pioneering companies before joining Ascom Energy Systems in 1999. He joined Delta in 2003 when Ascom Energy Systems was acquired by Delta. In his previous role, Mr. Sharma was the Managing Director of Delta India and successfully grew the company into a market leader through consistently strong performance in various business areas.
