Trade fair for factory automation and process industry
Conrad at all about automation for the first time
At all about automation, the trade fair for factory automation and the process industry, the Conrad team focuses on regional and personal contact with B2B customers, suppliers and marketplace partners.
A sourcing platform for B2B customers, on which more than 7 million product offers are currently available. A digital marketplace as an integral component. Individual e-procurement solutions for companies of all sizes. And online product services from 3D printing to PCBs on one platform. - Conrad Electronic is focusing on digitalization on its way to becoming Europe's leading procurement platform for technical business supplies, but as a family business with almost 100 years of company history, it is not losing sight of the human factor. "We are convinced that the virtual world only works with people and machines. That's why we automate processes, but at the same time rely on personal and regular interaction with our business customers, suppliers and marketplace partners," explains Conrad CEO Ralf Bühler. Nowhere is this more direct and unfiltered than at a trade fair.
Change in customer dialog
The Conrad team is therefore delighted that trade fair visits are finally possible again! All about automation will kick off in Friedrichshafen on April 5 and 6, 2022, followed by Düsseldorf (May 11/12), Heilbronn (May 18/19), Hamburg (June 29/30), Zurich (August 31/September 1) and Chemnitz (September 28/29). Components and systems, engineering and applications as well as digitalization in the age of Industry 4.0 are the focus of the trade fair for factory automation and the process industry. In addition to this convergence of focal points and target groups, those responsible at Conrad were particularly impressed by the regional character of all about automation, where manufacturers, distributors and service providers network with users from the region. Ulrich Ermel, Vice President Sales B2B at Conrad Electronic, comments: "In our observation, the corona pandemic has brought about a change in customer dialog. In the future, this will be more direct and intensive than we know it from the time before coronavirus."
Informative discussions, innovative products
In order to meet these new customer expectations, Conrad has decided to participate as an exhibitor in this regionally strongly rooted trade fair model for the first time this year. "We are already looking forward to presenting the latest solutions for efficient digital procurement, our rapidly growing marketplace offering and the most innovative new products from the fields of industrial automation and education at a total of six trade fair locations," continues Ulrich Ermel. Some of the latest highlight products that the Conrad team will be showcasing include a compact controller from Wago, a signal tower and an inductive proximity switch from Tru Components, an interface module from Siemens and a robot arm kit from Igus.
