Expansion of presence in Sweden
The Zimmer Group continues its international growth course and founds Zimmer Group Scandinavia AB, based in Sweden, on October 1, 2025.
"The foundation is a logical part of our global expansion strategy," explains Niels Sorensen, Managing Director of Zimmer Goup Scandinavia AB. "Sweden is a strong and future-oriented market in which we see great potential."
The establishment of Zimmer Group Scandinavia AB is the logical continuation of the long-standing, successful partnership between the Zimmer Group and United Components A/S. The new subsidiary will enable the Zimmer Group to serve its customers directly from Sweden. The company expects this to result in shorter distances, even better local advice and a sustainable strengthening of its regional market activities. Little will change for existing business partners: the familiar contact persons will remain the same, as will the delivery times, conditions and article numbers. Only the customer numbers will be changed.
