Ziehl-Abegg in the IPAI

Networking brings advantages when using AI

Ziehl-Abegg is now represented in the Innovation Parc Artificial Intelligence (IPAI). The IPAI in Heilbronn is currently home to the most ambitious project for applied artificial intelligence in Europe.

"Artificial intelligence has already found its way into several areas at our company. We now want to professionalize company-wide networking and use," says CEO Joachim Ley.

The IPAI is an innovation-promoting ecosystem as a platform where different partners come together to work on future-relevant AI solutions. The IPAI is a home for applied AI in Europe and the world. It is an innovation platform and transformation accelerator for AI activities in research, business and public institutions. That suits Ziehl-Abegg, says CEO Ley. "Our involvement in the IPAI will help us move forward: Experts from a wide range of industries and company sizes exchange ideas and cross-fertilize each other."

Well-known companies such as Porsche and organizations such as the Fraunhofer Institute are based at the IPA, as are the police and the Technical University of Munich. And now also Ziehl-Abegg. The Künzelsau-based industrial company has been a pioneer in building its employer brand via TikTok and e-sports for years. "The fact that we are hosting the first 'AI Communication Award' in 2024 shows how much we care about AI. We are always on the lookout for best practice solutions," explains the CEO of Ziehl-Abegg.
