The new branch enables the provider of software protection, licensing and security to provide its South Korean customers with even better support and customized solutions in the local language.

Wibu-Systems' internationalization began in 2001 with the founding of its first foreign branch in the USA, followed by its market entry in China in 2003. In 2018, the company expanded its activities to Japan and now, in 2024, it is establishing a branch in South Korea. In addition to these milestones, Wibu-Systems has continuously expanded its network of European branches and distributors worldwide in order to achieve the most comprehensive customer support possible around the globe.

Further investments planned in South Korea

As local support in the local language and consideration of local business practices are crucial for successful pre-sales consulting and post-sales support, the new South Korean subsidiary Wibu-Systems Korea Ltd. will focus on marketing CodeMeter technology, the company's flagship software protection and licensing solution.

In the future, Wibu-Systems plans to invest further in the South Korean market by expanding its local team, further developing and adapting its product portfolio and entering into strategic partnerships with local companies and universities.
