Weidmüller acquires shares in e-mobility provider Wallbe
Weidmüller Mobility Concepts, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Weidmüller Group, has acquired 25.1 percent of Wallbe, Paderborn, from Enercity. Wallbe, a full-service provider of e-mobility charging solutions, manufactures charging stations for electric vehicles, offers customers cloud-based operating services and develops intelligent payment and billing functions. The company began as a start-up a few years ago, generated sales of EUR 5.2 million in 2018 and employs around 50 people. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
