Board election at VDMA Large Industrial Plant Manufacturers
Serkan Şen becomes new Chairman
The VDMA Large Industrial Plant Manufacturers' Group (AGAB) has elected a new Executive Board. At the members' meeting on November 3 in Darmstadt, Serkan Şen, Senior Vice President Commercial & CFO Linde Engineering, was elected Chairman of the working group.
Mr. Şen succeeds Jürgen Nowicki, who held the honorary position with great commitment for nine years until his retirement from Linde Engineering in May 2025.
Şen is supported by two deputies:
Dr. Hannes Storch, Vice President Metals and Chemicals Processing Metso and Managing Director Outotec GmbH & Co KG
Martin Oetjen, COO & Member of the Executive Board Everllence SE
They will support the Chairman and jointly represent the interests of large-scale plant engineering vis-à-vis those responsible in German and European politics.
New members on the Executive Board
In addition to Serkan Şen, Norbert Petermaier, Executive Vice President, CSO & Member of the Executive Board Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH, was elected to the Management Board for the first time.
