Tridonic: Hedwig Maes new CEO
On September 1, 2019, Hedwig Maes will take over as CEO of Tridonic, Zumtobel's lighting technology company. In this role, she succeeds Guido van Tartwijk, who left the company at his own request at the end of last year. Hedwig Maes will report directly to Alfred Felder, CEO of the Zumtobel Group.
Hedwig Maes, an experienced managing director and sales manager, is taking over this responsible position. After studying electrical engineering at the Industriele Hogeschool Antwerpen-Mechelen (IHAM) and business administration at the UFSIA University in Antwerp, Belgian-born Hedwig Maes gained over 32 years of professional experience in the fields of electronics, industrial automation and industrial systems at companies such as General Electric and ABB. Most recently, he held the role of Vice President of Global Systems & Solutions at Rockwell Automation for ten years.
