Torsten Raak is the new Vice President Marketing DACH at Schneider Electric

Torsten Raak has been the new Vice President Marketing DACH at Schneider Electric since November 1, 2017. In this position, he is part of the management of the company's new DACH organization, which was created in July of last year.

In his new position, the 41-year-old will report directly to Dr. Barbara Frei, Zone President DACH/CEO of Schneider Electric. In his new position, Raak is responsible for all of the company's internal and external communication tasks. He will focus on the consistent implementation of a consistent and comprehensive digital communication strategy. "It is clearly my intention to surprise the market with activities and campaigns that people may not have expected from us before," says Raak.

Raak has been working for Schneider Electric since 2014, most recently as Senior Vice President Experience Marketing at the company's headquarters. Before joining Schneider Electric, the media informatics graduate worked for SAP in Germany, South Africa and the USA for ten years. Most recently, he held the position of Director Service Portfolio Management at SAP. He was then Senior Vice President Corporate Marketing at Siemens Enterprise Communications and was responsible for the rebranding of the company to "Unify". Raak is married, has two children and lives in Saarland.
