Industry congress
Three days of knowledge and contacts
On three themed days from June 15 to 17, the digital networking days 2021 will bring together renowned industry experts from industry and cutting-edge research with decision-makers and users from operational practice. The focus will be on the digital transformation of the industry, intralogistics and tool and mold making.
The digital networking days are a series of digital events organized by INDUSTRIAL Production, KUNSTSTOFF MAGAZIN and materialfluss focusing on three current topics that will shape the development of industrial production in 2021 and the coming years. With practical presentations, best-practice examples and workshops, they are dedicated to one topic from industry and logistics every day. The special feature is the networking opportunities: The conference platform also allows networking and direct exchange among participants and speakers. This gives participants the opportunity to have a detailed question explained by an expert in a one-to-one video chat. Another important feature: the presentations are recorded and can be viewed at a later date during the event.
Day 1 - Gamechanger 2021:
Top logistics in e-commerce and production
Logistics on the rise: nothing works without e-commerce. Production is running at full speed in many industries. New distribution centers are springing up like mushrooms, old warehouses are being modernized and production lines are being expanded. One thing is in short supply everywhere: human labor. And yet the products still have to be manufactured, packaged, shipped and, ideally, dispatched immediately by clicking on the "Order now" button. Retailers and manufacturers need game changers to ensure that this is not just science fiction. At the digital networking days, top experts will talk about what these look like in e-commerce logistics and production logistics. The program on this day is divided into four parallel sessions, two each for the focal points of production logistics and distribution.
Day 2 - Solutions for tool and mold making 2021
On the path from design to construction to the finished product, tool, mold and model making play a decisive role in the economic efficiency of the entire production chain. Continuous data flow, additive processes and new machining strategies offer impressive new possibilities. These must be used not only to operate the most efficient mold and tool making, but also to make production economical and competitive. Industry 4.0 is a keyword - but tool and mold making knows many more levers. In addition to overarching presentations on networking, there will also be special presentations on topics such as hot runners and additive manufacturing.
Day 3 - Between edge and cloud - digital transformation in practice
After more than a year of the coronavirus pandemic, no one is arguing about the need for digitalized production. This makes the question of how all the more important: how can companies make their production facilities fit for the digital requirements of today and the further developments of tomorrow, without disrupting production and at a reasonable cost? Fortunately, there is now extensive experience and tried-and-tested solutions. Four thematically organized parallel sessions will shed light on the topic from different perspectives: industrial cloud solutions, networking especially on the store floor, networked production supply, remote maintenance and standards for networking.
