We often report on how digitalization is making conventional production more modern, efficient and secure. Machines and systems - often summarized under the term Operations Technology (OT) - meet information technology, or IT. When applied correctly, this combination can lead to significant increases in production. But what does this mean and for which companies is it worth investing in the fusion of OT and IT? Many SMEs are asking themselves these and other questions today.

What knowledge do the two areas bring to production? How and what can OT and IT learn from each other? How can OT expertise be mapped in IT solutions? How and which solutions can be developed together? What examples of best practice are there? What does employee management look like in times of digitalization?

In order to be able to make important decisions for your own company with confidence, it is essential to know the technical background and understand the interrelationships.

In our new event series "OT meets IT - the series", we provide insights into the technical developments of today and tomorrow in a series of lectures including a workshop. In monothematic lecture series including a short workshop, experts from industry and research will provide answers to precisely these questions. Get to know modern technologies and working methods that will support you on your company's path to digital transformation. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with the experts in a small and exclusive setting (maximum 15 participants).
