Expansion of the stepper motor range
Faulhaber takes over Dimatech
With effect from July 19, 2018, Faulhaber Antriebssysteme is acquiring Dimatech SA, a Swiss manufacturer of high-performance stepper motors using disc magnet technology.
With the integration, Faulhaber is expanding its portfolio in the area of stepper motors in the upper performance range, thus creating improved access to further fields of application in the textile industry, medical technology, robotics and automation. Dimatech, based in Les Bois in the Swiss Jura, will in future be integrated and managed as an additional location of Faulhaber Precistep SA, which is only a few kilometers away. The Faulhaber Group stepper motor specialist from La Chaux-de-Fonds recently celebrated its company anniversary and can make the most of its 30 years of experience in marketing this drive technology.
