SSI Schaefer: New management of the Plastics division

Stephan Sielaff took over from Dr. Armin Vogel on July 1, 2025 and will assume responsibility for the Plastics Division on August 1 of this year.

After more than 12 years of dedicated and successful work, most recently as CEO of SSI Schaefer Plastics, Dr. Armin Vogel will join the Advisory Board of the Plastics Division on September 1, 2025, in order to continue to support the division with his extensive experience.

Sielaff brings over 30 years of experience in various functions with a focus on business development and operations management and has worked for various companies, including Unilever and Symrise. During his professional career, he worked for more than 20 years in management positions in Germany and abroad, most recently as CEO of a listed company in Austria. Peter Edelmann, CEO of the SSI Schaefer Group, commented: "We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Vogel, who has contributed his great commitment and expertise to the SSI Schaefer Group for more than 12 years. In recent years, he has also shaped and significantly developed the Plastics division. We are therefore delighted that Dr. Vogel has accepted the advisory board mandate and will continue to support the division in an advisory capacity in the future."

Commenting on Stephan Sielaff's succession, Peter Edelmann adds: "In Stephan Sielaff, we have found an extremely competent successor for the role of CEO of SSI Schaefer Plastics. We wish him a good start and are already looking forward to working with him."
