Blemo, an Industrial Automation Distributor (IAD) and proven partner of Schneider Electric for many years, is able to significantly expand its range of services thanks to the new service partnership. In addition to the sale of frequency inverters and soft starters, Blemo now also offers customized maintenance and service offers, which are carried out by the experienced Schneider Electric service teams.

"Our customers, especially machine manufacturers with an international focus, place high demands on service quality. Thanks to the expanded partnership and the combined expertise of our employees and the experts from Schneider Electric, we can now optimally meet these demands," emphasizes Marc Scherer, Head of Marketing and Sales at Blemo.

With its new status as an "Authorized Industrial Service Reseller", Blemo sees itself in a position to sustainably expand its service business. The partnership offers great potential, particularly in the area of maintenance contracts, as maintenance services can now be implemented more efficiently and, if required, reliably worldwide.

Modernization services for drives: Blemo offers various modernization stages to significantly extend the service life of frequency-controlled machines and systems. During revitalization, ageing drives are refurbished and critical wear and spare parts are replaced. The next stage is retrofitting. In a retrofit, ageing frequency inverters are replaced with the latest generation, including the corresponding programming, which guarantees full support in terms of spare parts availability and firmware updates.

Various systems for condition-based and predictive maintenance: Thanks to the partnership, Blemo can offer various innovative systems for condition-based and predictive maintenance that meet the needs of machine and plant manufacturers - regardless of the manufacturer.

Consulting services: Thanks to the partnership, Blemo can now also support its customers in finding the right maintenance strategy. Through audits and consulting services, Blemo supports them in optimizing their maintenance strategy and achieving their cyber security and energy efficiency goals.

At the same time, Blemo will offer the classic, product-related service portfolio from commissioning to classic on-site maintenance.

With mySchneider, Schneider Electric offers a personalized digital platform that gives Blemo access to real-time information about installed solutions, service contracts or service visits and much more. This platform offers Blemo the opportunity to expand its after-sales business and proactively respond to customer needs, for example through automatic maintenance reminders and optimization suggestions.

Expansion of the service business in the DACH region

For Schneider Electric, the partnership with Blemo strengthens its market presence in the DACH region and offers the opportunity to respond even more specifically to customer needs. Thanks to its close proximity to customers and high level of technical expertise, Blemo can respond directly and individually to the specific requirements of its customers - a strength that Schneider Electric is specifically supporting and expanding through the partnership.

Ilias Ait Abdedaim, Partner & Channel Manager (DACH) at Schneider Electric, adds: "The collaboration with Blemo underlines our commitment to support customers through a strong partner network and innovative solutions alike. The new role as AISR enables Blemo to respond even better to customers' needs and offer services that make an important contribution to competitiveness, sustainability and efficiency."
