Energy and Field Service divisions
Schneider Electric reorganizes management teams
As of August 1, 2018, Schneider Electric is reorganizing the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) management team for the Energy and Field Service business units.
Jens Roseneck, previously Vice President (VP) responsible for the Execution Center DACH/Global Customer Projects DACH, will in future also be responsible for the Energy DACH division as VP. In this role, he will report directly to Christophe Campagne, SVP Global Projects Execution Transformation, and functionally to Dr. Barbara Frei, Zone President DACH/CEO.
Dr. Joachim Dams, who has successfully managed the Energy DACH business unit as VP since 2015, will in future focus on the Field Service DACH business unit as VP, which he has also managed since 2017. Growth in on-site service plays a key role in Schneider Electric's strategy. This importance is thus taken into account. As VP Field Service, Dams will report directly to Dr. Barbara Frei.
Roseneck and Dr. Dams: personal details
Jens Roseneck (47) has been working for Schneider Electric for eight years. He previously worked for the French Areva Group (now Orano) as branch manager in Hanover. Roseneck holds a degree in industrial engineering and electrical engineering (Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg).
Dr.-Ing. Joachim Dams (60) worked in France for 25 years and then in Russia for three years after studying electrical engineering and completing his doctorate at the TH Karlsruhe. He returned to Germany in mid-2015. Dams has worked for Schneider Electric for eight years. Previously, he was responsible for the global medium-voltage switchgear division at the French Areva Group (now Orano), most recently in the position of Vice President.
"With our realignment of the Energy and Field Service business units in the DACH region, we are now in a position to meet the requirements of the market even better. We are also underlining the great importance that Field Service plays in Schneider Electric's growth strategy," says Dr. Barbara Frei, Zone President DACH/CEO of Schneider Electric.
