Personnel changes on the Schaeffler Executive Board
The Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG has appointed Andreas Schick as a member of the Board of Managing Directors with effect from April 1, 2018. The 47-year-old, currently Regional CEO Asia/Pacific, will assume responsibility for Production, Logistics and Purchasing and succeed Oliver Jung (56), who did not renew his contract at his own request and will leave the company on March 31, 2018.

Schaeffler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG: "Mr. Jung has been with Schaeffler AG since February 2008 and a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Schaeffler AG since October 2013. He has made a great contribution during this time. This applies in particular to the further development of the global network of plants and the Schaeffler Group's production system. On behalf of all members of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Mr. Jung for his great dedication and above-average commitment to the Schaeffler Group. We wish Mr. Jung all the best for the future, both personally and professionally."

He has many years of experience in Germany and abroad, particularly in the area of production and our plants. As Regional CEO Asia/Pacific and member of the Executive Board, he is already familiar with the work of the Executive Board," continued Georg F. W. Schaeffler.
In addition, the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG has decided to extend the Executive Board contract of Corinna Schittenhelm (50), Labor Director and Chief Human Resources Officer of Schaeffler AG, for another five years. "On behalf of all members of the Supervisory Board, I wish Ms. Schittenhelm and Mr. Schick all the best and continued success in their challenging tasks," said Georg F. W. Schaeffler. kp
