Distribution customers and suppliers will benefit from the new logistics center in many ways. By investing in the latest shuttle technology, Schukat will be able to process its customers' orders even faster in future. By increasing capacity by a factor of 2.8 to around 2,000 parcel shipments per day, more customers will receive their goods faster.

Due to the increased throughput speed, the time at which orders must be received for the goods to leave the warehouse on the same day is shifted back. This also has a positive effect on the speed of goods delivery.

The expansion of the storage area forms the basis for the company being able to stock significantly more items and expand its product portfolio accordingly - including items that place high demands on storage. This also creates more space for customer-specific stocks. The new system is characterized by a high level of reliability and therefore offers a high level of delivery security.
