New extension at Laservorm
Laservorm, the laser machine manufacturer and laser contract manufacturer from Altmittweida in Saxony, is investing in its future. In an extensive construction project, the company is expanding its premises over an area of around 1000 square meters. A two-storey administration and production building is being constructed. This will double the existing capacity. The investment costs amount to around 3.2 million euros.
Completion, staff moving in and commissioning of the new premises are planned in time for the company's 25th anniversary in 2019. The construction measures were necessitated by the increasing demand for laser systems for various industries. Managing Director Thomas Kimme says: "By investing in buildings and technical equipment, we can increase our efficiency in mechanical engineering and remain an attractive employer in the Central Saxony region." am
