New boss and new CFO at SSI Schaefer
Peter Edelmann has been appointed as the new CEO of intralogistics company SSI Schaefer with effect from October 15, 2023. In this role, Peter Edelmann succeeds Steffen Bersch, who has led the company for the past three and a half years.
Peter Edelmann has many years of management experience, including over twenty years with the Voith Group, most recently as a member of the Group Board of Management. Peter Edelmann has also managed the companies Kaefer Isoliertechnik in Bremen and B&C Industrieholding in Vienna as CEO. He also holds various supervisory and advisory board mandates.
Olaf Hedden has been appointed CFO as a further member of the two-person Group Management Board. He will also take over the role on October 15, 2023, succeeding Bruno Krauss.
Olaf Hedden has many years of management experience. He began his career at Metallgesellschaft and later worked at Rheinmetall for a long time, most recently as CFO of Rheinmetall Automotive AG. In addition, he is also familiar with medium-sized structures thanks to his work as Spokesman of the Management Board of Läpple AG.
