MVTec Software announces two new appointments
Sonja Schick joined MVTec Software in August as the new Product Manager responsible for business relating to the Merlic image processing software. Martin Krumey has been on board as Vice President Sales since September.
Sonja Schick's tasks at the provider of modern machine vision standard software include identifying customer needs and strategically positioning the Merlic standard software on the market. She is also responsible for operational tasks such as planning and monitoring the integration of new functions, managing revised version releases and presenting the software to customers and distributors. Prior to this, she worked in product management for six years and was responsible for the entire portfolio of an international biotech company. Most recently, Sonja Schick gained extensive experience in staff management and in international marketing, sales and product management in her role as Senior Director. From 2002 to 2008, Sonja Schick completed her Master of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Ulm.
"In my new position at MVTec, I see an exciting challenge to which I can contribute my in-depth expertise in product management. I look forward to helping to expand new business with Merlic and further strengthen the MVTec brand," explains Sonja Schick.
In his role as Vice President Sales, Martin Krumey will expand the company's leading market position worldwide and strategically drive growth. He is a member of the Management Board and reports directly to the Executive Board. Martin Krumey has many years of global sales and management experience with companies in the technology market. Before joining MVTec, he spent two years as sales manager for a listed company in the electrical wholesale sector and nine years as head of international sales for a global high-tech company in the B2B business. He has extensive sales experience in software and hardware products and solutions for various customer segments and leading OEMs worldwide. From 1997 to 2001, Martin Krumey studied International Business Administration at the Munich Business School in Munich, London and Madrid.
