Mann+Hummel: Werner Lieberherr new Chairman of the Management Board
The Supervisory Board of Mann+Hummel today announced the appointment of Werner Lieberherr as the new Chairman of the Management Board. Lieberherr takes office with immediate effect.
Since 2010, Lieberherr has headed the publicly listed aerospace group B/E Aerospace, Inc. as President & Chief Executive Officer. Following the acquisition of B/E Aerospace by Rockwell Collins in April 2017, he oversaw the successful integration of the Group as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and the ongoing acquisition of Rockwell Collins by United Technologies. Prior to this, Werner Lieberherr worked for 16 years in various management positions in the energy industry at ABB and Alstom Power, Inc.
Lieberherr holds a degree in Technical Business Administration and Operations Research from ETH Zurich and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago. During his career, he has played a key role in the success of international technology companies in Europe, Asia and the USA.
