Maintenance trade fair
Maintenance Dortmund records growth
The Maintenance Dortmund trade fair, which opens its doors on February 21, 2018, continues to grow: five weeks before the trade fair, it is already clear that there will be further growth with around 200 exhibitors. For two days, everything at the leading German trade fair will revolve around industrial maintenance. For the first time, over 40 suppliers will be presenting new and important information on occupational safety and health in industry in the WorkSafe exhibition area.
"We are looking forward to the many companies that will be coming to Maintenance Dortmund to present their technical spectrum and expertise," says Daniel Eisele, Group Event Director of trade fair organizer Easyfairs. With around 200 suppliers, more companies than ever are taking part in Maintenance Dortmund on February 21 and 22. "And that's despite the fact that the date of the trade fair has been brought forward by a month," says Eisele. The fact that so many well-known companies will be taking part underlines the importance of the event, which has risen to become Germany's leading trade fair. These include industry heavyweights such as Bilfinger Maintenance, SAP Germany, Endress+Hauser and GMP German Machine Parts as well as premium partners HANSA-FLEX and Carl Werthenbach as specialists from the maintenance sector.
Combination with WorkSafe for occupational safety
For the first time, more than 40 suppliers will be presenting important and up-to-date information on occupational health and safety in the industry at Maintenance. "Almost all of these exhibitors and competence partners confirmed to us how welcome and useful the combination of occupational safety and maintenance is," reports Eisele. These include industry experts such as Rembe GmbH Safety + Control as a partner for pressure relief and explosion protection, Safeline Bühning & Joswig GmbH, a problem solver and one of the leading suppliers of supplies for industry and trade, the safety experts from Total Safety GmbH and the traditional company Atlas Schuhfabrik GmbH & Co KG, a partner of Borussia Dortmund for over 100 years.
Another new feature of the trade fair is the 3rd user conference "Smart Maintenance for Smart Factories". Here, experts from the industry will report on how global market leaders are operating the maintenance of the future. Interactive experience forums offer visitors the opportunity to work intensively on a specific practical example together with experts and colleagues. In its Campus, which focuses on "Employee deployment in smart maintenance", the FVI e.V. will discuss new ideas and findings as well as existing maintenance challenges in the context of current topics. The aim is to identify suitable solutions.
Supporting program with guided tours and expert forum
On both days of the trade fair, visitors will not only be offered a comprehensive overview of the entire maintenance industry, but also an extensive supporting program for interested experts. Together with the proven and popular Guided Tours - guided tours of the trade fair to selected exhibitors - this year with the theme "Software-supported planning of smart maintenance", the ScienceCenter "Maintenance in the social networked industry" and the VDI expert forum "We are shaping the future", guests can once again look forward to an interesting event.
