Lewa establishes sales office in Perth

The Leonberg-based company Lewa is now represented on all six continents of the world with the establishment of a sales office in Perth, Australia, in June 2019. Lewa-Nikkiso Australia Pty Ltd is the fifteenth subsidiary of the pump experts from Baden-Württemberg. Together with the location in Singapore, customers in Oceania will also be served faster and more comprehensively from Australia than was previously possible. The medium-term plans also include the establishment of a business and customer service center.

"Previously, we served our customers in Australia and Oceania from Singapore," reports Daniel Wong, Managing Director of Lewa-Nikkiso Singapore. "This often involved long and costly journeys, especially as we have seen an increase in orders in these regions in the recent past." The petrochemical, oil and gas and mining sectors in particular have seen significant growth in Australia in recent years. The company has also won orders in the agriculture, dairy and food industries. Renewable energies are another field in which the Leonberg-based company would like to become active in Australia.

Lewa has been particularly successful in the energy and mining sectors in the past with a large number of installations of Lewa ecoflow and triplex process pumps. The sealless Nikkiso canned motor pumps have also been used in several cooling and air conditioning projects. This means that there is also demand and high market potential for this pump technology Down Under. "Based on these projects and the market acceptance we have gained as a result, we now want to provide our existing customers with even faster and better service and also convince new customers that Lewa Nikkiso is the right partner for all pump issues," summarizes Wong.
