The Ideaward honors digital pioneers who successfully implement projects in the field of digital transformation. This year, Zühlke Engineering Austria was honored in the small and medium-sized enterprises category.

As an innovation service provider, Zühlke successfully implemented the innovative digital service application Holorepair with a mixed reality solution together with logistics specialist Jungheinrich. The jury was particularly impressed by the rapid and innovative implementation of the project. In this way, the potential was optimally utilized and at the same time the basis for further development was created.

Support for service technicians
One of the key features of the Holorepair application is the combination of digital content and holograms with real objects. The app visualizes a 3D service manual, offers a photo function within the application and - thanks to digitalized demarcation - marks the safety area around the service technician. The application can also be operated intuitively using voice control functions. "The user experience is often neglected because the focus is on technological feasibility. However, many companies are now realizing that a positive user experience is a crucial prerequisite for the commercial success of products and services," says Lindner.

In addition to Zühlke, the Constantia Flexibles Group also received the 2018 award. Styria Marketing and Nativy were also recognized as Digital Paragons. "As a specialist in digital transformation, we at Zühlke have been following the Ideaward for some time. I am delighted that we were able to win the award with the Holorepair project. The award underlines the fact that our user experience approaches are now also ensuring sustainable project success in the B2B sector," explains Ines Lindner, UX Lead Consultant Zühlke Engineering. as
