Hannover Messe 2025
Taking AI to the next level of automation
The Smart Manufacturing exhibition area at Hannover Messe is all about intelligent and sustainable production.
In seven halls, companies from all over the world will present how the latest technologies, components, integrated Industry 4.0 solutions and artificial intelligence contribute to making production processes even more effective and sustainable in order to survive in global competition.
The Smart Manufacturing exhibition area is made up of the topics of automation and sensor technology, robotics and logistics automation as well as drive and fluid technology. Visitors will find all the tools they need to make manufacturing even more efficient and sustainable. Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly central role here. "Artificial intelligence will revolutionize the entire value chain of manufacturing companies and thus significantly increase their competitiveness. At Hannover Messe 2025, visitors can find out which applications are already available and which will soon be launched on the market," says Hubertus von Monschaw, Global Director Trade Fair and Product Management Hannover Messe at Deutsche Messe.
Companies of all sizes are represented
The exhibitors in the Smart Manufacturing area include leading companies from all over the world - from international corporations to SMEs and start-ups. These include Aignep, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth, Cantoni, Delta Electronics, Emerson, Festo, Flender, Harting, HAWE, ifm electronic, I.M.M. Hydraulics, Lapp, Pepperl+Fuchs, Phoenix Contact, Rittal, Schaeffler, Schneider Electric, SEW Eurodrive and Siemens.
Whether industrial sensors, electric drives and control systems, AI-supported engineering or complete solutions for various industry applications - in Hanover, visitors will learn first-hand how they can optimally adapt their production to meet the increasing demands in terms of productivity and sustainability.
AI and robotics together in the park
National and international companies will be presenting what these robotics applications look like in and around the Application Park at Hannover Messe. Among other things, AI-capable robots will be in action there, demonstrating how they learn to take on tasks and adapt dynamically to changing production environments. This makes production more efficient, especially for individual products or small batch sizes.
Traditionally, drive and fluid technology is represented at the Hannover Messe in odd-numbered years by a large number of companies from Germany and abroad. This will also be the case in 2025. Under the Motion and Drives label, manufacturers will be presenting the latest applications and components for intelligent and sustainable production.
Embedding in the innovation ecosystem
"With Hannover, we offer all exhibitors in the field of smart manufacturing the opportunity to be embedded in a unique industrial innovation ecosystem in which national and international companies from the mechanical engineering, electrical and digital industries as well as the energy sector present efficient and sustainable solutions for current and future industrial value creation. This mix of research, business, start-ups and politics enables direct access to top-level decision-makers, technology scouts, experts and media representatives from all over the world," says von Monschaw.
In addition to the exhibition, Hannover Messe offers an attractive and top-class supporting program. In the Smart Manufacturing area, this includes both the highly frequented Industry 4.0 Stage and the Motion and Drives Conference Stage.
