Halder launches a mobile showroom. From soft-face mallets to standard parts and clamping devices to aviation products, customers can now experience the extensive range up close. Combining everything in one vehicle, the company presents products and advice directly to the customer.

With over 10,000 standard parts, such as machine and fixture parts, clamping elements, operating parts and machine elements,Halder is one of the leading manufacturers of precision parts for industry and trade. Modular fixture systems for workpiece clamping, soft-face mallets and forestry tools as well as aviation products are also part of the product range.

"The Mobile Showroom is the direct successor to our demonstration trolley, which has been in use for many years. As this was unfortunately no longer up to date, we started looking for a new and better way to present our products," says Kevin Schumann, Sales Standard Parts at Erwin Halder. "After intensive research, we opted for a much larger mobile showroom. The idea of a mobile exhibition stand convinced us all. The basic requirement was that a cross-section of all Halder products could now be shown here."

And the experts have achieved this: with an interior area of 2.44 x 4.90 m, the small truck offers enough space for around 10 visitors and an appealing and clear presentation of all four product divisions - standard parts, clamping devices, hand tools and aviation products. Users will find excerpts from the company's entire catalog here. Up to six people can sit at a table in a comfortable seating area. It is also possible to fold out a 2 x 3 m platform with a canopy by opening the side wall. "We prefer to use it open, it only stays closed in bad weather," adds Kevin Schumann. In addition to targeted customer visits, the Mobile Showroom also travels to smaller in-house exhibitions, vocational schools and training fairs.

Since the end of September 2018, the mobile exhibition stand has already covered around 8,000 km and visited around 70 customers. This allows users to get their hands on the products, try them out and form their own impression of their function, quality and performance. The particular advantage of such a demonstration with simultaneous advice lies in the individuality. In this way, the respective topic can be addressed in a very specific way. Kevin Schumann explains: "A good example of this is our modular V70 fixture system, which we are focusing on in particular with the Mobile Showroom. We can assemble a fixture directly on site and design a clamping solution for a specific customer workpiece."
