Change of name
Fischer Kunststoff Präzision becomes Röchling Industrial Laupheim
Following the takeover of the Laupheim-based plastics processor Fischer Kunststoff Präzision by the Röchling Group, the company now operates under the name Röchling Industrial Laupheim GmbH. The plastics processor was taken over by the Röchling Group last year. With the change of name, Röchling is continuing the integration of the subsidiary into the international group of companies.
The new name Röchling Industrial Laupheim GmbH is intended to demonstrate the affiliation to the Röchling Group and emphasize the marketing strategy of the Industrial Division, to which the plastics processor from Laupheim belongs. The Industrial Division processes thermoplastics and thermosets for almost all industries worldwide.
Heinz Dirksen, Business Unit Director Sales & Marketing Machined Components at Röchling, explains: "Our plastics are used in almost all industries worldwide. Our goal in the Industry division is to offer the optimum material for every industry, every application and every customer. In direct discussions with our customers, we develop new possibilities and create added value."
Röchling Industrial Laupheim currently employs over 150 people at two locations, Laupheim, south of Ulm, and Arnstadt near Erfurt, which are equipped with modern CNC machines and other machining centers for the machining of plastics.
The Röchling Group's 19 closely networked machining plants in the Industrial division are global leaders in the machining of thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics. They specialize in the production of finished parts and components for almost every industry. Dirksen emphasizes: "As part of this network of companies, Röchling Industrial Laupheim GmbH can offer its customers a very wide range of machining options." Röchling can offer milled parts up to 14,000 mm in length, diameters of up to 4,000 mm and 5 tons in weight or large turned parts with a diameter of 2,000 mm. Micro-machining of very small components with a diameter of just 0.5 mm is also part of the program.
Ansgar Robbe, Managing Director of Röchling Industrial Laupheim, emphasizes the positive development: "The takeover has been very well received by the market. Thanks to the quick and uncomplicated integration and the close cooperation, we can utilize many synergies and have already been able to acquire our first new customers. As part of the Röchling Group, we can offer our customers new possibilities and an even better service in the processing of plastics."
The company intends to use the new opportunities primarily to further expand its market position in the target industries of medical technology, control, sensor and fluid technology. The growth strategy also includes an investment of millions in the production of high-precision turned parts. Rudolf Karremann, Technical Managing Director of Röchling Industrial Laupheim, explains: "We will continue to expand the modern machinery and equipment for the production of high-precision CNC and turned parts in Laupheim and Arnstadt. This investment will further expand the manufacturing options for our customers." kp
