Digitization workshop
Entering the digital future of production for SMEs
The degree of digitalization in production will play a key role in the future. However, small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in particular are still struggling with the topic. Pull Beratung by Prof. Dr. Markus Schneider is therefore offering a four-day workshop to help them get started in the digital future.
Although numerous examples of successfully implemented digital transformation are known, there is no such thing as a digitalization strategy: what and to what extent can be implemented in medium-sized production companies depends on various factors such as the degree of automation, product complexity, value chains, production technologies and much more. Developing a roadmap for the digital future is a real challenge for manufacturing companies.
As part of the 4-day "Digitalization" workshop, the basics and advantages of digitalized production are first taught using numerous practical examples. In addition, Value Stream Management 4.0 provides the company with a methodology with which it can independently determine the degree of digitization.
Participants will also learn about future-oriented Industry 4.0 technologies in a model factory measuring around 900 square meters. A case study then demonstrates how these technical building blocks can be put together to create an individual digitalization strategy. Value stream management 4.0 is used to show how the technologies can be networked and further developed in a targeted manner. The workshop concludes with group work in which participants use the knowledge gained to develop their own digitalization roadmap and define initial steps. as
