Two new shareholders at IIoT platform

The joint venture of the open digital IIoT platform Adamos (ADAptive Manufacturing Open Solutions) has two additional shareholders: Engel Austria and the Karl Mayer Group. This strategic alliance for the future topic of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), which was founded by Dürr, DMG Mori, Software AG, Zeiss and ASM PT, is available worldwide with 200 experts.

Concentrated expertise

With a turnover of 1.36 billion euros, Engel Austria is one of the leading companies in plastics machinery manufacturing and the global market leader for injection molding machines. Karl Mayer is the market leader in textile machine construction and offers solutions for warp knitting and warp preparation as well as for the technical textiles sector.

All seven companies contribute in-depth industry knowledge and IT expertise to ADAMOS. The IIoT platform is comparable to the operating system of a computer and collects large amounts of data from production. Digital marketplaces that form the interface to machine operators are based on Adamos.

The Dürr Group offers the digital marketplaces Loxeo (for Dürr and Schenck customers) and Tapio (for Homag customers). Here, plant operators can evaluate data, digitally map their production and purchase digital services and apps, for example for predictive maintenance, adaptive production planning or the management of operating materials. am
