"We are opening our second pop-up store in Bonn because we believe that interest in a stylish and affordable city car is likely to be particularly high here," explained Schuh in his opening speech.

In this context, Minister Pinkwart explains: "The vision of a new mobility 'made in NRW' is becoming reality. With the range of electric vehicles from the Aachen innovation hub, which will soon include three, and the state's increased support for the expansion of both private and public charging infrastructure, traffic in our cities will become cleaner and more climate-friendly." The federal city in particular is an ideal location for the temporary sales area for the new electric car. "Bonn is not only a model municipality for our 'Emission-free inner city' program, but also one of the five leading cities in the federal government's 'Clean Air' program," said the Minister.

Caritas in the city of Bonn is also participating in this change in mobility and is planning to convert its emergency vehicles to electric vehicles. Three e.GO Life vehicles have already been pre-ordered and they intend to gradually replace another part of their fleet. The letters of intent for this have already been submitted to e.GO Mobile AG. "In Bonn, we bear a wide range of responsibilities for people's health and well-being. That's why sustainability is also a concern for our vehicles. e.GO offers us a valuable partnership to combine these concerns," explains Caritas Director Schneider.
