The Austrian Wittmann Group is reorganizing its management structure: From May 1, 2026, the two owners Michael Wittmann and Dr. Werner Wittmann will be jointly responsible for the entire group of companies. This means that the Injection Molding Machinery (Wittmann Battenfeld, Kottingbrunn) and Automation and Peripherals (Wittmann Technology, Vienna) divisions will be combined under a dual leadership. Rainer Weingraber leaves the Group at the end of April.

"With the new structure, we are also consistently implementing the 'It's all Wittmann' strategy, which was launched in 2022, at management level," says Michael Wittmann. "Our high level of overall solution expertise is a strong competitive advantage, which we will expand even more intensively worldwide through the merger."

Rainer Weingraber joined the Group in 2019 as CEO of Wittmann Battenfeld. "Mr. Weingraber has led the injection moulding machine division through challenging times and has been instrumental in driving forward the integration of all business units," emphasizes Michael Wittmann. "We would like to thank Mr. Weingraber for his commitment and achievements over the past seven years and wish him all the best for the future."
