New CEO at Wittenstein
"Wittenstein is an exceptional, excellent company with enormous potential for the future. I very much appreciate the trust placed in me and look forward to my new role," says Dr. Bertram Hoffmann with regard to his new function.
Hoffmann studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe and at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. After obtaining his doctorate in engineering, he joined Robert Bosch as a trainee in October 1996 - this was followed by various positions in the areas of quality assurance, production, technical operations and plant management in Spain, Germany, Japan and the Czech Republic. In 2007, Hoffmann was appointed Managing Director of ZF Lenksysteme, Schwäbisch Gmünd.
In 2012, the 55-year-old moved to Bosch Rexroth and became a member of the Management Board with responsibility for the Renewable Energies business unit. In 2015, he also took over responsibility for the Mobile Applications business unit as a member of the Management Board and, as Head of the Mobile Applications business unit, responsibility for development.
