Philip Harting, Harting CEO, and Peter Seidenschwang, Head of Industry at Expleo Germany GmbH, signed the agreement, which confirms both parties' long-term cooperation in the field of data-driven services and IoT solutions for industrial customers.

Harting offers the modular, industry-standard Mica edge computer for numerous industrial applications, which Expleo implements with its experts in connectivity, visualization, data analysis and artificial intelligence.

Existing cooperation

The joint declaration of intent by the management of both companies deepens the long-standing cooperation within the "MICA.network", the user organization around Harting's Edge Computing System Mica.

Expleo has been involved in this area since 2016 and has developed a solution for the process and operational optimization of machines and production systems. Expleo's modular "SMARTAnimo" software is able to independently learn the standard behavior of connected production lines and individual machines and detect anomalies in the process without manual intervention.

The overall efficiency of the system can now be increased by focusing on predictive quality or predictive maintenance based on the early detection of emerging faults. dsc
