Belden takes over Macmon Secure
Belden has acquired Macmon secure, a manufacturer of network access control software.
The company's products complement Belden's portfolio in the field of industrial networks. They will be integrated into the Hirschmann product portfolio.
The acquisition of Macmon further expands Belden' s Customer Innovation Center (CIC) initiatives by adding network access control consulting capabilities and the ability to enhance solutions for customers' complex industrial networking needs. According to the company, the acquisition expands its portfolio to include NAC (Network Access Control) and SDP (Secure Defined Perimeter) software to protect networks and cloud resources.
